The Everything Cookie

The Everything Cookie
When you're in the mood for something sweet, try these cookies.
This is like the everything bagel only in cookie form.  There are so many different ways you can make the Everything Cookie. Use what you have in the pantry to create this amazingly, chewy cookies.  This cookie would be great with white chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, butterscotch chips, Heath bar chips, broken pretzels, raisins, get the point.

  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2  eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup oats 
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips (dark or semisweet)
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2  cups puffed rice cereal


  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Cream the butter with both sugars in a mixing bowl until fluffy.
  • Add peanut butter.
  • Add the eggs one at a time. 
  • Add the vanilla and beat.
  • Combine the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.  Add to the mixing bowl and mix until combined. 
  • Add in the oats, PB chips, chocolate chips and nuts. 
  • Add the cereal at the very end, mixing until just combined. 

Use a large cookie scoop to scoop balls of dough onto a cookie sheet. 
Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes, and then allow to cool on a rack.
